As part of the continued evolution of the global Clinical Research & Development (CRD) function, the company is seeking a Scientific Director – a senior scientific leader who can shape clinical development strategy, drive cross‑functional collaboration, and guide the scientific rigor behind key development programs.
This is a high‑impact, strategic, and hands‑on role for an experienced clinical development leader who thrives at the interface of science, strategy, and execution.
The Role
As Scientific Director, you will provide high‑level scientific and strategic leadership across global clinical development activities. You will guide long‑term portfolio planning, ensure scientific integrity across early‑and late‑stage development, and represent the organization in key scientific, regulatory, and strategic forums.
Your work will empower clinical teams, strengthen cross‑functional alignment, and shape decisions that influence development pathways across Haematology and Critical Care.
Requirements
Advanced degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related field (PhD or medical‑scientific specialization is an asset).
Extensive experience in clinical development across early‑and late‑stage programs.
Proven leadership in global clinical programs and portfolio‑level decision‑making.
Strong expertise in regulatory frameworks (ICH, GCP, EMA, FDA) and hands‑on experience with regulatory submissions (IND, IMPD, CTD modules).
Demonstrated scientific leadership in evidence generation, study design, benefit‑risk assessment, and TPP development.
Strong strategic thinking, analytical capability, and cross‑functional decision‑making skills.
Experience managing budgets, cost centers, and departmental resources.
Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
