Director - Procurement, Supply Chain & Operations at EMEA Recruitment
In collaboration with our client, we are searching for a Procurement Project Manager to be based at their office north of Zurich. This is a newly created role to add value to the wider Supplier Development & Procurement function and enhance the delivery of various projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as a Project Manager within Procurement to manage the implementation of projects
* Coordinate with Supplier Development and Category Management teams to ensure procurement deliverables and targets are on track
* Develop Category initiatives, managing them in a Program and Project capacity
* Showcase Procurement understanding and market drivers to contribute to delivering projects related to growth, savings, and new product introduction
* Bring best-in-class procurement principles to the business and apply them in a Project capacity
Candidate Profile
* Educated to degree or equivalent level, ideally in an Engineering or Supply Chain related discipline
* Proven track record in Project Management AND a Procurement or Purchasing function
* A Project Management or Program Management qualification such as PMP would be preferred
* Experience in leading teams and individuals in a Project capacity
* Fluent in English, German fluency would be an advantage
