Job Description
As an Associated-Director in the finance department, you will be in charge of the product accounting team. Reporting directly to the head of finance and reporting, Vice-Director, you will play an important role in analyzing the sales and products’ financial performance and in maintaining the financial integrity of the revenues in the data analytics database of the Group together with your team.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management:
* Sales Committee Reporting Activities: Preparation of the annual sales revenue budget, analysis of the sales revenue accounting compared to budget, analysis of clients’ revenues and activities in our database, preparation of financial information such as sales committee reporting and analysis, and segment reporting as per IFRS standards. Close collaboration with senior management to support decision-making.
* Product Accounting: Implementation of a framework to monitor and control different products and service’s profitability, cooperation with internal stakeholders to understand the different product data needs across the bank and prepare relevant financial analysis, participation in transversal projects in collaboration with various stakeholders within the Bank, preparation of accurate reports and dashboards for various beneficiaries by collecting data from a variety of sources and presenting it in a clear and concise manner.
* Revenue Financial Data Quality: Performance of data reconciliation between accounting systems, data analytics database and risk systems, implementation of data-driven financial controls to detect unusual movements and ensure data integrity, consistency, and reliability. Maintain accurate documentation of all activities performed.
Team Management (Small Team):
* Leading and Supporting the Team: Fostering a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization.
* Coaching and Mentoring: Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities.
* Performance Management: Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.
Qualifications
* Minimum of 5 years track record in a similar role.
* Bachelor or Master's degree in Economics / Finance.
* Very good knowledge and previous experience in management accounting or financial analysis.
* Excellent command of MS Excel.
* Knowledge of Tableau, SQL, Power BI, VBA, and Python is a plus.
* Fluent in English; French is a plus.
* Good understanding of the banking business, ability to get the big picture.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with internal stakeholders.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
* Proactive mindset, with ability to work independently in a collaborative environment.
* Good attention to details and critical sense.
* Self-driven with a “can do” attitude.
