In a global, cross‑functional diagnostics environment, the
Hardware Development (HW) department
is responsible for the full life‑cycle maintenance of integrated hardware, software, and consumables products used in nucleic acid purification, PCR, and sequencing.
As an
Electronic Engineer
, you will join a product care team focused on maintaining, optimizing, and supporting complex diagnostic systems in a highly regulated industry. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional stakeholders and external development partners to ensure product performance and compliance throughout the product life cycle.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Plan and execute work packages within your area of responsibility
Maintain and optimize existing diagnostic hardware products throughout their life cycle
Analyze technical data and prepare reports for project leads
Present solutions and recommendations within project team meetings
Escalate issues proactively when deviations from plan occur
Drive efficiency improvements within assigned work packages
Coordinate activities with other functional areas to achieve project goals
Author and maintain official documentation (e.g. Design History Files) in SAP
Act as subject‑matter expert for your assigned technical area
Flexibly transfer knowledge across tasks and projects as required
Must‑Haves
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable discipline
Minimum
3 years of experience in product life‑cycle/product care
for existing products
Experience and willingness to work in a
highly regulated environment
