Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career? We are currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified Engineering Project Manager (m/w/d) to join our client's team in Bern.
In this technical role, you will support the CAPEX Project Manager by leading technical coordination activities across cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities include ensuring that all technical deliverables are designed, reviewed, approved, and executed in accordance with engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
You will serve as the key technical contact for stakeholders and external partners, contributing to the successful execution of engineering projects in GMP-regulated environments.
Your responsibilities:
* Wear protective equipment as prescribed and replace when defective.
* Eliminate hazards and risks immediately or report them to your supervisor.
* Conduct and lead risk assessments, including FMEA and design reviews.
* Support Annex 1 related projects and ensure GMP compliance.
* Drive technical development to ensure process and equipment compliance.
* Author and review project documents such as URS, URB, and project descriptions.
* Align external supplier deliverables with internal standards.
* Act as the technical liaison between departments including QA, Production, and Engineering.
* Lead and participate in project meetings, ensuring technical clarity and follow-up.
* Represent the technical function in workshops and ensure alignment on decisions.
* Provide technical support during plant shutdowns, including preparation and post-shutdown evaluations.
* Preferably on-site presence with up to 40% flexibility for home office.
* Support training sessions for shopfloor personnel.
Your profile:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Process, Chemical, or equivalent).
* At least 5 years of experience in technical project execution within GMP environments.
* Strong understanding of cGMP, EU Annex 1, and engineering documentation.
* Experience in FMEA, troubleshooting, and interdepartmental interfacing.
* Excellent communication and organizational skills.
* Fluent in English; German language skills are necessary.
