See Yourself at Telix
Telix Pharmaceuticals is recruiting a hands‑on Neuro‑Oncology Brand Lead to own the brand strategy and commercial launch of late‑stage brain cancer imaging asset across Europe. This role is purpose‑built for a self‑sufficient marketer who is equally comfortable developing strategy and personally executing it — without direct reports or reliance on external agencies. The ideal candidate brings deep oncology marketing expertise, a strong understanding of European market dynamics, and meaningful experience in radiopharmaceuticals (diagnostic or therapeutic). A drive to lead a transformative product launch from the ground up is essential.
Key Accountabilities
* Lead the end‑to‑end European launch of a late‑stage neuro‑oncology asset, from pre‑launch preparation through commercialization, personally executing tactics where needed.
* Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy for a late‑stage brain cancer imaging asset, including positioning, messaging, and value proposition tailored to European markets.
* Create and produce core promotional and medical education materials (digital, print, congress) independently, without relying on agency support.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), neuro‑oncology specialists, neurosurgeons, and neuroradiologists across Europe.
* Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to identify insights, track competitor activity, and refine brand strategy.
* Collaborate cross‑functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory, and Sales to ensure brand cohesion and launch readiness.
* Manage the brand budget directly, making hands‑on decisions to optimize spending and maximize ROI.
* Develop congress and event materials and represent Telix at key neuro‑oncology meetings (e.g., EANO, SNO, ESMO).
* Monitor brand performance using KPIs and sales data, identifying course‑correction opportunities and adjusting tactics proactively.
* Ensure all promotional materials and activities comply with European regulatory and industry standards (EFPIA, local codes).
* Contribute to the development of patient support programs and disease awareness initiatives in neuro‑oncology.
Education And Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field required. MBA or advanced scientific degree preferred.
* 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical brand management, with a minimum of 2 years in oncology or neuro‑oncology specifically.
* Demonstrated experience independently executing brand launches in Europe, including content creation, KOL engagement, and congress presence — without relying on agencies or a direct team.
* Prior experience in radiopharmaceuticals — either diagnostic (e.g., PET/SPECT imaging agents) or therapeutic (e.g., targeted radionuclide therapy) — is strongly preferred and will be a key differentiator for candidates.
* Hands‑on proficiency with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Veeva PromoMats, Adobe suite, digital marketing platforms, CRM systems).
* Strong understanding of the European neuro‑oncology treatment landscape, including brain tumor diagnostics (GBM, LGG), imaging modalities, and treatment pathways.
* Proven ability to work across multiple European markets and navigate diverse regulatory and cultural environments.
* Based in Geneva; regular travel across the EMEA region required.
* Excellent English skills required; additional European languages (French, German, Italian, Spanish) highly advantageous.
Key Capabilities
* Executional ownership: Ability and willingness to personally develop brand materials, presentations, and digital content to a high standard without delegating to agencies.
* Strategic and tactical agility: Equally capable of setting the brand vision and rolling up sleeves to implement it in a lean environment.
* Deep therapeutic area knowledge: A genuine understanding of neuro‑oncology — the science, the stakeholders, and the patient journey.
* Radiopharmaceutical fluency: Comfort with the science and commercial dynamics of diagnostic or therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals, enabling credible dialogue with nuclear medicine specialists.
* Inclusive mindset: Demonstrate an appreciation for diversity and actively foster an inclusive working environment.
* Creativity and innovation: Ability to develop compelling, differentiated brand narratives and creative executions independently.
* Results‑oriented: Driven by measurable outcomes, with a strong sense of accountability for launch success.
* Ethical behavior: Act with integrity and comply with all applicable promotional and regulatory standards.
* Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast‑paced launch environment with evolving priorities.
* Stakeholder engagement: Skilled at building credibility and long‑term relationships with neuro‑oncology clinicians and academic centers.
* Collaboration: Effective cross‑functional partner, sharing knowledge and aligning diverse teams behind brand goals.
* Resilience: Ability to navigate setbacks, ambiguity, and complexity inherent in a specialty product launch.
* Continuous learning: Committed to deepening expertise in neuro‑oncology, radiopharmaceuticals, and evolving European market dynamics.
