class processes and finding new and better ways to use technology and data. /p pbRole responsibilities: /b /p pbStrategic Sourcing Management /b /p lipLead end-to-end global, multi-region strategic sourcing projects across IT categories (including software, hardware, services, and licensing) /p /li lipSupport the development and execution of IT category strategies aligned with business objectives /p /li lipConduct market analysis, demand assessment, spend analysis and supplier evaluation to identify sourcing opportunities /p /li lipDeliver measurable cost savings, value creation, and service improvements /p /li pbCommercial Leadership /b /p lipLead tender processes (RFx), supplier negotiations, and contract development for complex IT deals /p /li lipProvide commercial guidance to stakeholders throughout the sourcing lifecycle /p /li lipEnsure robust contractual structures, pricing models, and risk mitigation strategies /p /li pbStakeholder Engagement /b /p lipPartner closely with IT leadership and key business stakeholders to understand requirements and align sourcing initiatives /p /li lipAct as a trusted commercial advisor on strategic procurement decisions /p /li lipInfluence senior stakeholders to drive adoption of sourcing strategies and governance /p /li lipAdvise stakeholders on best practice sourcing strategies, taking in consideration the complexity of their requirements and timescales to deliver an agile approach to procurement support /p /li pbSupplier Performance Management /b /p lipSupport IT stakeholders to deliver strategic supplier relationship management (SRM) where necessary, including performance tracking and governance frameworks /p /li lipProcurement Operations Governance /p /li lipLeverage procurement technology and spend analytics to identify opportunities and inform decision-making /p /li lipSupport procurement compliance, policy adherence, and P2P adoption (e.g., purchase orders, catalogues) /p /li lipCollaborate with operational procurement teams to ensure effective handoff of lower-value or transactional IT spend /p /li pbContinuous Improvement Capability Building /b /p lipContribute to process improvement initiatives and the evolution of procurement best practices /p /li lipSupport change management and adoption of category strategies /p /li lipShare knowledge and best practices to enhance overall team capability /p /li pbQualifications /b /p pbEssential: /b /p lipSignificant experience in strategic IT sourcing and category management within a global environment /p /li lipProven track record in leading complex sourcing projects and negotiating enterprise-level IT contracts /p /li lipStrong knowledge of IT procurement categories (e.g., software, SaaS, cloud, infrastructure, services) /p /li lipExpertise in strategic sourcing methodologies, RFx processes, and contract development, including working autonomously to lead competitive sourcing RFx projects and support contract drafting /p /li lipDemonstrated ability to operate in a matrixed, international organisation /p /li lipAbility to communicate with impact and influence senior stakeholders and Executive Leadership Teams (ELT) /p /li lipStrong commercial acumen, analytical capability, and financial modelling skills /p /li lipExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills /p /li pbTechnical Tools : /b /p lipExperience with eProcurement systems (e.g., P2P platforms, eSourcing tools, catalogues) /p /li lipStrong proficiency in spend analytics and data-driven sourcing /p /li lipAdvanced skills in Excel and data analysis tools /p /li lipFamiliarity with tools such as Coupa and Power BI (preferred) /p /li lipExperience in savings calculations, forecasting and recording /p /li pbPreferred Experience: /b /p lipExperience within a professional services, consulting, or infrastructure-led organisation /p /li lipUnderstanding of construction, infrastructure, or transport sectors /p /li lipExperience working across global, cross-cultural teams /p /li lipExperience in collaborating and coordinating with adjacent operational procurement teams to ensure less strategic/lower value/lower risk spend can be supported under separate ‘guided-buy’ channels, maintaining capacity in the strategic channel for the spend that matters most. /p /li lipKnowledge of Coupa and PowerBI would be an advantage /p /li lipHighly numerate with excellent analytical skills including advanced MS Excel skills /p /li pbPreferred Qualifications: /b /p lipDegree in commercial, economics, business, or engineering, /p /li lipNationally recognized professional certification (eg Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply or Certified Purchasing Manager or equivalent professional procurement and supply
