We are currently supporting a global life sciences solutions provider in their search for an experienced Automation Project Manager to join their team in Switzerland. This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of technically challenging projects in a dynamic and innovative environment.
Responsibilities
* Leading automation projects from concept through to on-site commissioning
* Managing timelines, budgets, and project deliverables
* Designing electrical systems and selecting appropriate components
* Developing automation architecture, including PLC and HMI programming.
* Supporting pre-sales activities with technical input and cost/time estimations
* Providing post-sales support and troubleshooting
Qualifications
* Degree in automation engineering or equivalent
* 5+ years' of hands‑on experience in industrial automation
* Strong expertise in Siemens PLC and TIA Portal; knowledge of Rockwell is an added advantage
* Fluency in French and English; German is a bonus.
* Strong communication and organisational skills alongside a keen eye for detail.
