We from Luxe Talent, International Recruitment and Specialised Training Consultancy, are currently looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager on behalf of one of our clients, based in Geneva.
In our recruitment and training consultancy we work with different firms in the Luxury, Premium and High Premium sectors around Europe and have offices in Barcelona, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Munich and Amsterdam.
Responsibilities as Assistant Store Manager:
* Store Operations & Management
o Assist the Store Manager with HR administration, payroll oversight, and back-office tasks (data entry, inter-store transfers, product deliveries, daily closings).
o Monitor daily sales reporting, control product quality, and oversee bank deposit reconciliation.
o Handle client disputes and escalate unresolved issues when necessary.
* Sales, Customer & Client Management
o Develop and implement action plans to drive sales across all product categories.
o Maintain and expand the store’s client database to strengthen relationships and drive engagement.
o Ensure all associates deliver exceptional customer service and resolve client issues promptly.
* People Management & Development
o Lead and motivate store staff, fostering engagement, ownership, and business involvement.
o Support the Store Manager in training Sales Advisors on collections, selling techniques, and seasonal products.
o Evaluate employee performance and provide continuous feedback to ensure results.
o Assist in recruitment, training programs, and HR issue resolution in collaboration with HR.
* Visual Merchandising & Store Image
o Ensure correct interpretation and implementation of visual merchandising guidelines.
o Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation to reflect the brand image.
o Collaborate with the Visual Display Team to present products to the highest standard.
* Communication & Reporting
o Facilitate smooth reporting to Management on turnover, HR matters, accounting, client issues, and events.
o Support the Store Manager in maintaining effective communication with corporate office, mall management, and other stores.
Technical Skills
* Extensive experience in luxury fashion retail, with a strong track record in sales and team leadership.
* Skilled at driving business growth, developing talent, and enhancing client relationships.
* Deep understanding of luxury fashion trends and the competitive market landscape.
* Confident in building networks and maintaining high-level customer engagement.
* Polished, professional appearance; fluent in French and English, additional languages are an advantage.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
