Our transversal Group Technology R&D is looking for a highly motivated front-end developer who has a passion for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for machines. You will be helping implement our new unified embedded frontend platform and will support Product Lines R&Ds to bring their HMIs to a next level of web-based modern standard.
You will be working in an industrial environment with embedded equipment and closely partner with cross-functional teams and experts in our organization.
In this function you will be entrusted with the following main tasks:
* Enhance code coverage to prevent regressions using Vitest and Playwright.
* Creating and maintaining user documentation in VitePress.
* Support the development process and provide training and assistance to end users.
* Develop and enhance components within a custom framework written in JavaScript/TypeScript based on Web Component.
* Participate actively in Agile ceremonies.
For this function you bring the following requirements:
* Experience with typical toolchains is an advantage (e.g. Azure DevOps, Node/NPM, etc.)
* HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript: Understanding the fundamentals of web development languages to help with front-end tasks and troubleshooting.
* Version Control Systems: Familiarity with version control systems like Git to manage code changes and collaborate with other developers.
* Knowledge in Vue, Playwright, Vitest and VitePress is an advantage.
* Knowledge in design tool like Figma is an asset.

Your education and languages capabilities:
* Training in web or application development, computer science or similar.

The production site of Mex, near Lausanne in Switzerland, is also the headquarters of the Bobst Group. It is the most important site, employing approx. 1500 passionate people.
