At Accounting Elements, we help small businesses thrive with clean books, smart advice, and cloud-based systems. We’re looking for a friendly, detail-oriented Bookkeeper with 2–3 years of experience (preferably in an outsourced firm) and strong skills in Xero and/or QuickBooks Online for a full-time (40 hr/week) position.
Salary $50.000 -$60,000 DOE + benefits.

Responsibilities
Code bank feeds, monthly reconciliations, bill pay, invoicing, and payroll for multiple clients
Perform reconciliations for cash and credit accounts, payroll, and other Balance Sheet accounts
Solve small mysteries (missing transactions, weird balances) before they become big issues
Help cover down for colleagues when they’re out of office — because teamwork makes the dream work
Communicate with clients kindly and professionally via email, Zoom, and Slack
Keep financial data organized, accurate, and audit-ready (because messy books are not our vibe)
Other duties as required
Qualifications 2–3 years of Bookkeeping Experience (outsourced/public accounting firm preferred)
Full-Charge Bookkeeping experience is a plus
Bookkeeping for creatives and ecommerce businesses is a bonus
Tech-savvy, comfortable with cloud-based systems, and a strong internet connection required
Experience using Xero, QuickBooks Online, and cloud-based apps (Hubdoc, Gusto, etc.)
Strong time management and ability to prioritize multiple deadlines
Excellent written and verbal communication in a professional setting
Curiosity, resourcefulness, and a genuine team player mentality

Compensation

We are a 16-year-old boutique firm offering bookkeeping, accounting, and advisory services using cloud technology. We specialize in serving design firms, creative agencies, e-commerce businesses, and tech companies. Our mission is to help clients grow and scale through solid bookkeeping, precise financial reporting, and advisory services.
We’re a remote-only workforce — work wherever you have a strong internet connection (pets welcome!). We value getting things done right the first time, with low stress and flexible schedules. Team members should be available at least five+ hours during 9AM–4PM CST, M–F, but we understand that family and pets come first.
