Laboratory Technician – Advanced Mineral Development (focus on Grinding & Dispersion)

Execution of experiments using established and experimental laboratory methods in dry and wet comminution of mineral pigments, including fine grinding and slurry stabilization. Work with dispersants, grinding aids, rheology modifiers in processes such as wet grinding, dry grinding, surface modification, slurry dewatering, slurry stabilization, particle size, and stability analysis. Responsible for logging samples, entering data, and reporting results.
Accountabilities
* Test and implement new methods and processes
* Actively participate in team and work group activities
* Suggest process improvements and modifications to procedures, equipment, instruments, or SHE to enhance performance or capabilities
* Generate and log data supporting patents, reports, and publications
* Deliver work within specified timelines
Requirements
* Laboratory apprenticeship certificate or equivalent (High school diploma)
* 2-3 years practical laboratory experience, either through apprenticeship or industry
* Ability to perform routine procedures independently, including modifications with minimal supervision
* Good command of both oral and written German
* Good knowledge of English
* Proficiency in office and technical software (e.g., Microsoft Office 365)
