Job Description
This role will be responsible for providing strategic business-oriented legal advice on IP-related matters to support the organization's objectives.
Becoming a Business Advisor of Choice
* Provide insights and recommendations on IP strategy.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate IP considerations into business plans and product development.
* Develop and implement training programs to educate teams on IP issues and best practices.
Managing IP Portfolios with Precision
* Conduct global searches and clearance checks for names and perform prior art searches in key markets for new designs.
* Oversee trademark, copyright, and design rights strategies filings and registrations.
* Work closely with the paralegal team on trademark and design prosecution to streamline processes and maximize efficiency.
Negotiating and Drafting Agreements
* Draft review and provide guidance on all types of IP agreements and IP aspects of commercial agreements.
* Support agreement reviews and negotiations as needed.
Validating Products and Campaigns
* Review new products for IP clearance and ensure they have appropriate IP protection.
* Provide IP clearance review and advice on all communication materials.
Enforcing IP Rights Globally
* Manage contentious activities globally coordinating with external counsels.
* Build enforcement strategies when needed.
* Contribute to global enforcement efforts including anti-counterfeiting actions.

Required Skills and Qualifications
1. You have a sound legal education with specialization in IP and admission to an EU Bar.
2. You have 8-10 years of experience in an international law firm solid litigation experience preferred; in-house experience is a plus.
3. You are fluent in French and English both written and spoken.
4. You can build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels and work seamlessly with external partners.
5. You are a natural communicator able to convey requirements simply.
6. You are highly organized capable of managing multiple projects and communications.
7. You act with integrity and professionalism building strong working relationships.
8. You can work transparently and meet deadlines in collaboration with stakeholders.
9. You are trustworthy able to handle confidential information appropriately.
10. You are agile able to shift priorities as needed.
11. You are a creative thinker advising internal stakeholders on messaging strategies for diverse audiences.
