You will lead the accounting activities for multiple subsidiaries, ensuring accurate financial records and timely closings while maintaining compliance with local regulations.
Responsibilities
* Manage daily and periodic accounting operations from inception to completion.
* Oversee monthly and annual closings, guaranteeing accuracy and completeness.
* Monitor general ledger activity, bank movements, and key balance sheet items.
* Ensure timely processing of supplier and customer transactions.
* Support Value-Added Tax, social charges, and standard tax filings.
* Liaise with external accountants or auditors as necessary.
* Maintain accounting procedures and improve internal workflows.
* Contribute to optimization of tools, document flow, or cost tracking when relevant.
* Provide support on finance-related topics to internal stakeholders (administration, operations, etc.).
Requirements
* 3+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in a small or mid-sized industrial or technical environment.
* Comfortable working independently and structuring financial processes.
* Familiar with Swiss accounting standards and basic tax/social security requirements.
* Proficient in Excel; experienced in working with accounting software or ERP systems.
* Fluent in French, good English skills for documentation or tool navigation.
* Reliable, down-to-earth, and proactive – able to manage day-to-day priorities without heavy supervision.
