Job Title: Senior Operations Director
This is an exceptional opportunity to lead the operational strategy for the entire EMEA region. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing the Operational Go-to-Market strategy, working closely with the VP Sales EMEA and regional leaders.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, logistics, or business administration. They will be able to supervise all instruments and service operations for Europe, manage back-office departments, and create strategic visions for the operations team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise all instruments and service operations for Europe.
* Manage back-office departments, including order management, sales enablement, operation analysts, trade compliance, logistics, warehouse, and used equipment sales.
* Create strategic visions for the operations team, including critical performance metrics.
* Coach and develop the team to support individual development needs and ensure a highly engaged team.
* Optimize and adapt internal processes to target internal and external customer satisfaction and identify cost-saving potentials.
* Support the marketing and sales organization by providing innovative operational support and internal process improvement.
* Improve existing systems in terms of data quality and workflows, including Oracle, CRM, and other internal tools.
* Oversight of the order management/sales administration for all orders inside Europe and India.
* Oversight of the logistics' strategy for EMEA, including offshore logistic support for manufacturing facilities in Asia and the US, as well as logistics services for maintenance, calibration, and repair units inside Europe.
* Ensure the Operations department's compliance with all trade and export control regulations.
Candidate Requirements:
* University degree in Operations Management, Logistics Management, or Business Administration.
* Strong 'customer satisfaction' mindset.
* Demonstrated ability in commercial operations, crafting and driving strategy and vision of the department.
* Proven experience in leading a team of managers, with a track record of consistent results and high engagement scores.
* Strong executive communication and presence as well as strategic approach.
* Ability to assimilate information from multiple sources to accelerate or course correct.
