What you will do
Digital Wave Finance is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate System Administrator with a degree in IT (or similar). We are a young firm in the heart of Switzerland. We build next-generation trading strategies and systems based on sound mathematical models.
Location: Zug, Switzerland | Relocation support provided
Main Responsibilities
* Manage Ubuntu Linux systems in data center and cloud VPCs
* Install, provision and configure Linux servers
* Troubleshoot hardware, system and application issues
* Implement systems/network/performance monitoring
* Improve on infrastructure and security
Requirements
* Strong grasp on Linux OS
* Automation and configuration management using Ansible, Terraform
* Understanding of Ethernet/IP networking and related protocols
* Experience with NFS/Ceph storage
* Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes containerization
* Basic understanding of SQL, NoSQL, Key-Value DBs
* Scripting in Bash, Python
* Basic comprehension of C/C++
* CI/CD: Gitlab, Jenkins
