Primary Responsibilities
1. Pre-Sales Leads Qualification and Prospect Support
2. Demonstrate building clear and understandable simulation examples for prospective customers, primarily in low frequency EM applications.
3. Support prospective customers with modeling their applications using COMSOL Multiphysics.
4. Showcase COMSOL software features through web-based workshops, marketing events, and customer meetings.
5. Identify and develop potential sales accounts in electrical engineering.
1. Post-Sales Technical Support and Training
2. Assist customers in using COMSOL for EM and other multiphysics applications.
3. Engage in sales opportunities with existing customers and their colleagues.
4. Enhance your technical skills through support cases and collaboration with sales and applications engineers.
5. Conduct training courses, webinars, and product demonstrations to promote our solutions in industry, government, and academia.
Minimum Qualifications
* MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
* At least six months of experience modeling electromagnetic applications with COMSOL Multiphysics.
* Service-minded, business-oriented, outgoing, adaptable, and flexible.
* Willing to work daily with customers.
* Strong presentation skills, both in-person and online.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in German or French, professional in English.
* Eligible to work in Switzerland (Swiss B permit or higher, or EU citizen).
Preferred Qualifications
* Deep experience with COMSOL modules, especially AC/DC or RF modules.
* Proven numerical modeling experience from projects in industry, research, or academia.
* Strong background in computational electromagnetism, Maxwell’s equations, and numerical methods, with application experience in electrical machines, transformers, high-voltage engineering, or induction heating.
* Familiarity with the Swiss R&D landscape.
