To develop our banking practice we are currently recruiting a Private banking/wealth management Business analyst
Role Overview
As a Business Analyst in our Private Banking/Wealth Management team, you will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams. Your role will focus on analyzing complex business processes, optimizing data management, maintaining banking systems and applications, and driving digital transformation initiatives to enhance client services and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Process Optimization
* Collaborate with private bankers, portfolio managers, and senior stakeholders to identify business needs and pain points.
* Document and analyze business processes, workflows, and client journeys in wealth management.
* Propose and implement process improvements, leveraging data-driven insights and industry best practices.
Data Management & Analytics
* Design, develop, and maintain data models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support decision-making.
* Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Work with large datasets to extract actionable insights for client segmentation, risk management, and performance tracking.
IT Development & System Maintenance
* Translate business requirements into technical specifications for IT teams.
* Develop and automate tools (e.g., Python, SQL, VBA) to streamline reporting, client onboarding, and portfolio analysis.
* Maintain and troubleshoot banking systems and applications, ensuring their stability, performance, and alignment with business needs.
* Support the integration of new technologies (e.g., CRM systems, AI-driven analytics, blockchain) into existing workflows.
Stakeholder Communication
* Act as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
* Present findings and recommendations to senior management and cross-functional teams.
* Train and mentor junior analysts and business users on data tools and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
* Data Management: Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
* IT Development: Experience with scripting languages and automation tools.
* Banking Systems: Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting core banking platforms and related applications.
* Wealth Management Systems: Familiarity with CRM tools and financial software.
Business Acumen
* Deep understanding of private banking/wealth management operations, including client onboarding, portfolio management, and regulatory compliance.
* Experience with digital transformation projects and system maintenance in financial services.
Soft Skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in both French and English.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, international environment.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field.
* 3 to 10 years of experience in private banking, wealth management, with a focus on business analysis, data management, or IT system maintenance.
* Certifications in business analysis (e.g., CBAP), data science, project management (e.g., PMP), or IT service management (e.g., ITIL) are a plus.
