Aufgaben der Stelle
Lead the Finance Team based at our Business Service Center, overseeing all accounting operations for Europe bag-in-box and spouted pouch activities, including AP, AR, GL, subledger and financial reporting. This is a 2-year fixed-term contract with the possibility to transition into other professional opportunities within our global organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for evaluating, reconciling and resolving complex accounting transactions, maintaining general ledger accounts and the group financial reporting for the bag-in-box and spouted pouches EU operations (i.e. Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Subledger, Asset accounting and Intercompany transactions, cost accounting & controlling, Cognos group reporting).
- Set and monitor goals and performance measures/indicators.
- Work with the team to develop and improve work standard procedures to enable continuous improvement.
- Coordinating the period end closing calendar impacting the activities of the team.
- Evaluates best practices and benchmarks for ensuring quality services.
- Ensures audit controls are followed, provides direction and assists in the maintenance of internal control procedures.
- Gets involved in the set-up and monitoring team performance and reports on metrics; follows-up results and implements improvement measures in order to maintain consistent service quality in the team.
- Work as the mediator between management and team members to facilitate good communication and transparency of complaints from both parties, and see to it that all issues are sorted out.
- Leads hiring and onboarding processes and oversees annual performance evaluations to build and develop a high-performing team.
Required Skills and Experience
- 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in similar leadership roles
- Graduate degree in business administration preferably with Finance focus
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Detail-oriented with strong accuracy
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Skilled at prioritizing effectively
- General knowledge of Infor LN, Cognos, TM1, Qlikview/Qliksense is nice to have
- Advanced skills working with MS Office modules (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
