Job Summary

B&A is looking for an SAP Procure to Pay Resource to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Procure-to-Pay (P2P) Functional Consultant with deep expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) and Materials Management (MM) modules. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and optimization of P2P processes, ensuring seamless integration between procurement, invoice processing, and payment cycles.

Responsibilities

Lead and support SAP P2P initiatives with focus on AP and MM modules.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
Configure SAP MM (Purchasing, Inventory Management) and FI (Accounts Payable) modules to support business processes.
Design and implement solutions for procurement cycles, vendor master management, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice verification, and payment processing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, supply chain, and IT to ensure end-to-end process alignment.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to P2P processes in a timely manner.
Support data migration, testing (unit, integration, UAT), training, and cutover activities.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit, and SOX requirements.
Provide end-user training and post-go-live support.
Support continuous improvement and optimization of SAP P2P processes.

Education And Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience as an SAP Functional Consultant with hands-on experience in MM and FI (AP).

Required Skills

Desired Skills

Experience with SAP S/4HANA (especially Fiori apps and streamlined P2P processes).
Familiarity with SAP Ariba, VIM (Vendor Invoice Management), or third-party procurement tools.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.
SAP Certification in MM or FI modules.
Understanding of tax configuration, GR/IR clearing, and vendor payment terms.
