Your Future Role
140 years of Swiss railway history meet modern solutions for green mobility in Zurich. With 300 colleagues, our Zurich site serves as a global competence center for high-performance traction technology and a development hub for locomotives, bogies, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as services for the local and global markets. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Tiago Nabais Lima and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.
Responsibilities
* Product responsibility for traction converters/power modules in railway vehicles
* Product standardisation, roadmaps, obsolescence management, life cycle cost
* Research and development coordinator and contact
* Lead for strategic developments
* Support tenders in terms of product selection and other relevant information
* Concept and solution creation for traction converters and power module
All About You

* Bachelor or Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
* Product management experience desired
* 5 years or more experience with converters respectively or other electrical equipment
* Product costing experience
* Good transversal problem solving skill
* Independent and good self-management skills; innovative and entrepreneurial thinking
* Experienced with MS Office
* Team player
* Fluent English skills; German and French skills preferred
