PhD Student in Fabrication of Quantum Devices at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) – Swiss Light Source. Join a leading research environment to develop fabrication methods for quantum nanostructures and devices.
Responsibilities
* Development of scalable fabrication methods of quantum nanostructures and devices using EUV lithography and e-beam lithography
* Close cooperation with other team members of the group and contribute to conceptualization, design, and characterization of the devices
* Performing research of highest quality and publication in high impact factor journals and international conferences
Qualifications
* You have a master’s degree in science or engineering
* You have a keen interest in applied research in quantum technology and nanoscience
* You are looking for new challenges and you are eager to learn new methods
* You are a highly motivated team player with good communication skills
* Experience in some of the following fields will be of advantage: nanolithography, quantum science and engineering, optics, nanocharacterization methods such as, STM, AFM, and SEM
