Located in Stein, Switzerland our successful CDMO Business Unit Drug Product Services (DPS) currently offers exciting opportunities. What you'll do:
* Routine execution and coordination of microbiological testing including environmental monitoring, bacterial endotoxins-, bioburden- and sterility testing etc.
* Adhere to GMP regulations to ensure flawless operations
* Perform, develop, establish and improve microbiological testing procedures, e.g. method suitability testing and provide training for test methods
* Support microbiology-related projects, such as implementation of new methods
* Ensure appropriate maintenance of equipment, safety and health protection following laboratory and safety instructions and all cGMP regulations
* Train analytical methods and/or corresponding instruments
What we're looking for:
* Education as Lab Technician, Bachelor or equivalent in Microbiology or Biology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related fields
* Working experience in microbiological testing, preferably in pharmaceutical industry working under cGMP Regulations
* Sound working knowledge in all (and in-depth knowledge in at least one) relevant microbiological test types (environmental monitoring, endotoxin, bioburden and sterility testing)
* Knowledge with automated systems (e.g. Growth direct, Pyrotec Pro) is an asset
* Excellent communication skills
* Fluency in written and spoken English, German is an asset
