We are seeking a Senior Electrical Hardware Engineer to lead critical hardware development for a next-generation Energy Storage System (ESS) within the aerospace sector.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to system certification under EASA Part-21 J.

* Key Responsibilities:
">
1. Take ownership of ECBA design and architecture, ensuring traceability from system functions to board-level requirements.
2. Lead the development of mixed-signal electronics: power supplies, protection circuits, sensing, and control interfaces.
3. Contribute to and support PDR/CDR activities and technical design reviews.
4. Develop and review detailed technical documentation: Design Descriptions, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Block Diagrams, Analyses, Worst Case, Error Budget, Power Dissipation, Timing.
5. Ensure compliance with DO-160 environmental testing standards: vibration, thermal, EMI/EMC.
6. Support board-level integration, troubleshooting, and system testing.
7. Participate in SOI audits and liaise with certification authorities on behalf of the hardware function.
8. Mentorship & Best Practices: Provide guidance and peer review across hardware development activities. Help maintain and evolve internal standards, design checklists, and engineering processes.

About You
">
To be successful in this role, you will have a degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field and 7-10+ years of experience in high-reliability hardware design.
You should have hands-on experience in DO-254 development environments, preferably for certified systems, and strong background in analog/digital design: DC/DC power supplies, protections, signal conditioning.
Proficient in simulation tools (SPICE, SIMetrix) and EMI/EMC techniques, experienced with ECAD tools - Altium Designer preferred.
Awareness of key standards SAE ARP4754 A, ARP4761, DO-254, DO-160, AMC 20-152, ASTM F3230 is essential.
Fluent in English is required, with French being a plus.
