You will be part of a small team using modern tools and methodologies in order to deliver innovative products in a fast-paced environment. The BOBST Group Technology division carries out innovative technology and product developments to shape the digital transformation in the packaging industry. Within this group, the Print Engine team which develops next generation of digital printers is looking for a talented Software developer to participate in the design, implementation, and testing of our products that increase the versatility of our machines. /p h3Main Responsibilities /h3 ul liDesign, Implement and Improve functionality for our Digital Printing Module /li liPerform code reviews and ensure that its own development passes CI on a daily basis /li liMaintain software of existing product portfolio /li liUnderstand the mechanical, electrical and software interactions of the Digital Printing Module /li liImprove team’s knowledge about adequate technology evolutions (performance, robustness, security…) /li liEnsure the required Software Quality standard with adequate automated tests /li liParticipate in Agile activities (standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews…) /li liCollaborate with stakeholders (Software and Automation engineers, Product owner, field technicians, customers, …) /li /ul h3Your Profile /h3 ul liStrong knowledge in Computer Science or in Microengineering/Robotics (Concurrency and Distributed Computing, Relational Databases, TCP/IP, Computer Architecture) /li liDemonstrated experience in industrial development in modern C/C++20 /li liExcellent knowledge of C++ STL, especially containers and algorithm /li liStrong debugging and profiling skills /li liBasic knowledge of SDLC, development models and principle design patterns /li liTeam spirit oriented, able to work with multiple actors /li liAccomplishing tasks with autonomy and result oriented /li liOpen-minded and proactive /li liDemonstrated experience with Git, ideally using Azure workflow /li /ul h3Would be a significant asset: /h3 ul liExperience in PLC (Beckhof or Siemens) /li liSkills in Quality Assurance (QA) with electro-mechanical systems /li /ul h3Nice to have: /h3 ul liSkills in Robotics or Printing machines /li liExperience with Azure DevOps /li liExperience with VMWare ESXi, Cloud and networking infrastructures /li /ul h3Our Software Stack /h3 ul liLanguages : C/C++20, C#, Batch scripting /li liFrameworks : Boost, REST, OPC-UA /li liDatabase : PostgreSQL /li liAgile Portal, CI/CD : Azure DevOps /li liIDE : Visual Studio /li /ul h3Your Education And Languages Skills /h3 ul liMSc degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Microengineering/Robotics /li liProficiency in English, French an asset /li /ul h3Join us – and grow with us. /h3 pBOBST is an engineering company, pioneering intelligent solutions that shape the future of the packaging world.
