Senior Compliance Specialist The Senior Compliance Specialist supports the implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s global compliance framework (approx. 300 employees worldwide). This role focuses on compliance trainings, policy management, sanctions compliance, third-party assessments, data protection, and ESG-related matters. The position reports to the General Counsel and works cross-functionally with Management, HR, Finance, Procurement, and IT. Key responsibilities Design and deliver global compliance training programs Conduct regular (e.g., monthly) compliance onboarding sessions for new employees and ensure proper documentation of participation Draft, review, and maintain internal compliance policies Conduct sanctions and embargo screenings Perform risk-based third-party assessments Support NDA review and compliance-related contract processes Assist in implementing data protection requirements Monitor regulatory developments and support internal reporting Contribute to ESG and sustainability compliance initiatives Your profile Required: University degree in Law, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in Compliance in an international environment Practical experience with: Sanctions and embargo compliance Third-party due diligence processes Policy drafting and implementation Fluent English (written and spoken) and German language skills (professional working proficiency preferred) Strong organizational skills and structured working style Independent, structured, and risk-based working style High level of integrity and sound judgment Desired: Experience in conducting compliance trainings or developing e-learning modules Familiarity with compliance tools (screening systems, policy management systems) Experience in a technology-driven or internationally operating company Experience in data protection compliance (e.g., GDPR) Exposure to ESG or sustainability-related regulatory frameworks Certification in Compliance (e.g., ICA, SCCE) is a plus What We Offer: Want to join a team that enjoys making secure connectivity simple for our customers?
