Job Description
The purpose of the position is to provide administrative and accounting support for the Temple Clerical Leader and the Temple Office Staff to help accomplish the mission of the Church. Serves as a role model in fulfilling the Church's religious mission with compassion towards others, and an attitude of devotion to God.
Responsibilities
* Under general supervision, performs a variety of tasks regarding:
o Temple appointments.
o Ordinances recording.
o Office organization.
* Processing documents and maintaining records and files.
* Receives calls, emails, visitors, and assists in resolving questions and issues.
* Provides constructive feedback while maintaining sensitive visitor relations.
Qualifications
* High School graduate with some college and minimum of 2-4 years of experience in a specialized or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Advance German and English level is required (written and spoken).
* Experience and fluency with Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* General knowledge of FamilySearch is required.
* Ability to:
o Develop skills to use equipment and software tools appropriate for this position.
o Resolve routine questions and problems referring more complex issues to higher levels.
o Work under direct supervision, follow standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish and perform assigned standardized tasks.
o Work in shifts, Saturdays and bank holidays.
