Join us, the future is ours to shapeThe GLP-1 Team will contribute to Sandoz' purpose to broaden access to affordable biologics for patients.As part of the newly established GLP-1 team, and as Pipeline Commercialization Director, you will be part of a small team who will be building the roadmap for Sandoz towards leadership in GLP-1s. Diabetes and obesity carry significant morbidity rates with a huge economic burden. As part of the solution for these conditions, GLP1s have the potential to treat one billion patients, and are on a trajectory for substantial growth in the coming years, with the market expected to reach $150B by 2035.If true pioneering, building a path that has not previously existed excites you, come and join the team that will be at the forefront of bringing post LOE GLP1s to patients and expanding access to these critical medicines.Major accountabilities: Responsibilities include but not limited to:Portfolio Development and New Product PlanningCommercial evaluation of pipeline and new assetsProvide market thought leadership, recommendations for portfolio and asset strategies.Lead portfolio selection and approval via a rigorous governance.Accurate medium- and long-term forecasts of sales, supply, M&S costs.Leadership of governance across stakeholder group to socialize and secure approval for portfolio decisions.Build deep customer, market and competitor insight mapping.Support portfolio governance including management of data into SANITY.BD opportunity evaluations:Commercial evaluation of BD&L projects.Lead the framework of commercial questions required pre vs. post deal signatures.Ensure integrated and agile checkpoints with regions/markets.Representation on external joint steering committees with partners as required.Commercial preparedness and launch excellenceDevelop and partner with markets on commercial strategies, forecast robustness ensuring accountability, and create cross market learning opportunities.Drive key commercial activities including target launch planning, TPP development and LCM, market scope, GtM model, price/volume/MS uptake and target TPCs planning.Ensure operational supply forecasts (including S&OP governance as appropriate) are appropriately executed, securing optimized business cases (supply allocations, TPCs etc).Strategic projectsLead / co-lead strategic projects as required to contribute to the value of the GLP-1 pipeline. These may relate to device strategy and long-term supply strategy.Minimum Requirements: What you'll bring to the role:Scientific degree, with MS or MBA as a strong plus.English (spoken and written fluency); knowledge of other languages a plus.Minimum 10 years of industry experience, with strong experience in early commercial.Experience in the GLP-1 space.Experience in supply strategy and planning.Experience in working in BD and managing external partnerships.Strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to bridge marketing and science. Experiences and competencies:Experience in global or regional commercial, with hands on new product planning; TPP development, forecasting.Experience in diabetes or obesity; with a mix of medical complexity, device element and high patient involvement in own treatment.Ability to coordinate and influence across complex matrix.Ability to interact with BD and alliance partners; influence contractual profile to maximize Sandoz position.Market / country experience to draw upon to design go to commercial models across different channels including digital/consumer; and access strategies.Experience in supply strategy would be beneficial.Why Sandoz?Generic and Biosimilar medicines are the backbone of the global medicines industry.
