About the role
You will define and run the strategy, operations, and ongoing improvement of the end‑user computing environment, ensuring a secure, reliable, and efficient digital experience for all employees. The role combines technical ownership with day‑to‑day team leadership.
You will manage strategic platforms such as Intune/MDM and also handle operational support areas, including L1 support and MIM. We are looking for someone who can operate effectively at both levels: shaping the platform and ensuring stable daily operations.
Your responsibilities
* Oversee all L1 support functions: Incident Management, Request Fulfilment, and Onboarding/Offboarding, ensuring quick end‑user issue resolution.
* Lead end‑user technology management: laptops/desktops, MDM, and client patching/security updates.
* Manage collaboration tools: MS Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, plus Jabra and Polycom hardware.
* Deliver workplace services: Printix printing, Logi meeting room hardware, and AV equipment.
* Improve operational processes through MIM participation and Continuity/DR planning for end‑user systems.
* Maintain the Knowledge Base and drive end‑user training to increase adoption and reduce repeat issues.
* Lead L1 Support Specialists across EU/NA and Systems Engineer Patching resources.
* Manage Identity & Access Management for end‑user devices and workplace tools.
Your profile
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science.
* Minimum 3 years of experience managing an IT Support team.
* 3 - 7 years of hands‑on experience in the relevant technical role.
* Fluent in English; German is an asset.
* Desired certifications: ITIL Foundation, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar.
* Strong expertise with MS Exchange, SharePoint, MS Teams (incl. Voice Global), and Microsoft 365 services.
* Extensive experience with MDM solutions and managing large fleets of laptops, mobile phones, printers, and meeting room AV (e.g., Logi).
* Solid knowledge of ITIL for Incident, Request, Problem, and Knowledge Management; experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.
* Proven ability to lead and motivate geographically dispersed support teams across time zones.
* Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex technical topics clearly to both technical staff and end users.
* Strong process orientation with experience creating procedures, SLAs, and Knowledge Articles.
