The role

We’re looking for a Network / Network Security Engineer to help operate, secure, and improve a modern enterprise network environment.

It’s a hands-on role with exposure to switching, routing, security, and newer technologies like SD-WAN and NAC.

You’ll sit right between operations and engineering — keeping things stable today and helping shape improvements for tomorrow.


What you’ll be doing

* 2nd & 3rd level support for network incidents and complex issues
* Operating and maintaining LAN, WAN, WLAN, and firewalls
* Troubleshooting routing, switching, connectivity, and performance problems
* Implementing changes, upgrades, and optimisations
* Supporting network security (segmentation, firewall rules, access control)
* Working with internal IT teams and external partners
* Creating and maintaining clear technical documentation


What you bring

Must-haves

* 3–4 years’ experience as a Network or Network Security Engineer
* Solid 2nd & 3rd level support background
* Strong fundamentals in routing & switching (TCP/IP, VLANs, OSPF/BGP basics)
* Experience in enterprise network environments
* German (working level) and English (good level)

Nice-to-haves (big plus, not blockers)

* Experience with Aruba switches
* SD-WAN exposure (operation, rollout, or migration)
* NAC experience (e.g. Aruba ClearPass or similar)
* Wireless / campus networking experience
* Basic scripting or automation mindset
