The company provides hands‑on support across commercial operations, market access activities, distribution structuring, and stakeholder engagement, with a strong focus on generic pharmaceutical products.
We are currently seeking a commercially rigorous and operationally hands‑on professional with direct experience in the Swiss generics pharmaceutical market. This position is intended for candidates with proven exposure to generic pharmaceutical products in Switzerland and prior experience interacting with hospitals, hospital pharmacies, wholesalers, healthcare professionals, pharmacies, and distribution partners.
This is a hands‑on operational commercial role combining field activities, stakeholder engagement, forecasting, launch support activities, commercial coordination, and structured market follow‑up.
Main Responsibilities
Manage and develop relationships with:
* Hospitals and hospital pharmacies
* Swiss wholesalers and distribution partners
* Pharmacies and healthcare stakeholders
* Prescribers, healthcare professionals, and selected associations
Support the commercial development and market expansion of generic pharmaceutical products in Switzerland
Conduct commercial discussions and contractual negotiations related to:
* Distribution agreements
* Pricing and rebate conditions
* Supply conditions
* Commercial partnerships
Support product launch and commercialization activities in Switzerland, including:
* Commercial readiness activities
* Launch coordination support
Contribute to market analysis, sales forecasting, and commercial follow‑up based on:
* Volume projections and opportunities
Maintain structured reporting and CRM follow‑up to support commercial activities and client projects
Prepare commercial presentations, business updates, forecasts, and market overviews for internal and external stakeholders
Represent GALSER and its partners during meetings, field visits, industry interactions, and selected events across Switzerland
Provide structured feedback from the field to support operational and commercial decision‑making
Mandatory Requirements
* Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, or a related field
* Minimum 8–12 years of experience within the Swiss pharmaceutical industry
* Mandatory direct hands‑on experience with generic pharmaceutical products in Switzerland
* Proven experience interacting and negotiating with:
o Swiss hospitals and/or hospital pharmacies
o Wholesalers or distribution partners
o Healthcare stakeholders within Switzerland.
* Strong understanding of:
o Swiss pharmaceutical distribution channels
o Commercial dynamics of generic pharmaceutical products
o Swiss pharmaceutical compliance requirements applicable to commercial activities and stakeholder interactions
* Demonstrated experience in:
o Commercial activities and account management
o Sales forecasting and market analysis
o CRM systems and structured reporting
o Product launch support or commercialization activities in Switzerland
* Fluent German and French are mandatory for daily operations
* Professional English required
* Ability to work independently with a high level of rigor, organization, and ownership
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Strong Assets
* Experience supporting pharmaceutical product launches in Switzerland
* Exposure to marketing or go‑to‑market activities
* Scientific background combined with commercial exposure
* Training or certifications related to Swiss pharmaceutical compliance or healthcare interactions
* Established network within the Swiss healthcare ecosystem
* Italian language skills are considered an advantage
This position is specifically intended for candidates with direct operational and commercial exposure to the Swiss generics pharmaceutical market, including experience related to generic pharmaceutical products, launch activities, distribution environments, and healthcare stakeholder interactions in Switzerland.
