Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities Define and drive the long-term vision, roadmap, and strategic direction for the complete portfolio of electric, electronics, sensors, motors, and drives in the Rieter products. Lead the creation and maintenance of the global project funnel, covering solution concepts, standardization initiatives, and design guidelines. Identify, appoint, and manage the Competence Center domain experts globally. Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to Competence Center leaders across all company locations. Facilitate regular alignment meetings to support innovation, collaboration, and problem resolution. Lead the Competence Center engineers in Winterthur, including disciplinary leadership, yearly performance reviews, and regular alignment sessions. Encourage competency development and ensure high technical performance across teams. Develop, manage, and optimize annual budgets for the Competence Center. Ensure alignment of financial planning with strategic priorities and operational needs. Oversee resource planning for all locations, ensuring optimal allocation of personnel and expertise. Ensure compliance with defined design guidelines, standard components, and standardized processes within the running development projects. Collaborate with category managers to support supplier strategies, standardization, and technology harmonization. Ensure robustness and reliability (FMEA, root cause analysis, lessons learned, field feedback loop).
