To strengthen its Infrastructure department, we are looking for a Manager to oversee rail operations and ensure a high level of safety, punctuality, and performance. This is a highly responsible position, at the heart of operations, with a direct impact on the quality of service provided to travelers and institutional partners. In this central role, you are the guarantor of the proper functioning of rail operations across the networks for which you are responsible. Your role involves ensuring smooth, reliable, and high-performing operations on a daily basis, as well as managing exceptional situations, in line with punctuality and quality objectives. You will oversee all activities related to traffic management, from planning to monitoring and performance analysis. In this context, you produce and structure reports intended for both management and institutional partners, and ensure the reliability of data concerning transported volumes and quality.In crisis situations, you take the lead for the Infrastructure area, coordinating necessary actions and ensuring quick and structured decision-making. You are also responsible for updating and monitoring the documents governing traffic management as well as access to networks. On a human level, you supervise and develop the teams within the Department, ensuring the maintenance of technical skills, the advancement of team competencies, and management consistent with the high demands of rail operations. You also serve on call related to your role and collaborate closely with other areas of the company, particularly the Passenger area, for both annual schedules and considerations related to service evolution. You act as a reference for project managers, ensuring requirements are met from the project phases.This position is aimed at a professional with solid experience in rail operations and team management, coming from a background in public transport or equivalent, complemented by skills in management or business economics. An additional qualification in public transport management is an asset. Your career has allowed you to gain excellent mastery of the issues related to railway traffic management, as well as an in-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks, particularly concerning operational duration. You have several years of experience within a railway center, with significant time spent in leading and supervising personnel. Your leadership is recognized and is based on an ability to take a holistic view, to reason systematically, and to manage complex situations methodically. You are reliable, have a strong sense of responsibility, and can navigate demanding environments under pressure. Your analytical skills, decision-making capability, and resilience to stress are crucial for success in this role. You communicate easily and effectively and are capable of collaborating with various stakeholders.
