As an Underwriter:in Kranken-/Unfallversicherung you are responsible for risk assessment and pricing of accident and group sickness insurance. Responsibilities
* Support and assist our internal sales organization (general agencies and brokers)
* Contribute to achieving our targets in production and profitability
* Manage your assigned portfolio (renewals / sanarisations)
* Calculate and independently prepare standardized as well as complex quotations
* Review applications for quality for risk acceptance
* Collaborate in projects to improve our products and processes
Qualifications
* Completed commercial basic training and insured-specific further education (e.g., Swiss Federal VET or equivalent) desired
* Professional experience as an underwriter in non-life personal insurance and/or in corporate client servicing
* Interest in social insurance topics
* Good MS Office skills and ability to use AI tools to support daily tasks, improve efficiency, and contribute to data-based decisions
* Assertive and communicative with negotiation skills in personal dialogue
* Business-fluent German and French or Italian desired
