MechanicAs a Mechanic, you will participate in work and projects in the mechanical and hydraulic fields. Within the Thermal, Gas, and Water division, the Drinking Water Production unit aims to guarantee, at all times, the continuity and maintenance of all treatment, pumping, relay, and reservoir facilities, as well as the groundwater, the Jet d'Eau, and emergency diesel groups, to ensure the supply of drinking water to the entire canton, as well as for energy facilities in the service of a sustainable Geneva.Your missions will be as follows:- Participate in the maintenance, assembly, and troubleshooting of the Drinking Water and Gas activity and on behalf of third parties;- Participate in the efficiency of the unit and the external image of the company.Personality and your skills:- You have knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, and equipment such as pumps, valves, and other control and regulation components;- You are able to keep yourself informed of technical developments in the field;- We expect you to have a sense of responsibility, a spirit of synthesis, and that you are available, versatile, and demonstrate team spirit and adaptability with a capacity for analysis;- Furthermore, good general physical condition (certified by a medical opinion for the use of protective equipment) is necessary.
