Overview
IT Support Analysts deliver exceptional field service support to clients, troubleshoot and configure Windows and iOS devices, and manage IT equipment installations. The role requires strong communication, documentation, and physical handling of computer hardware.
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide desktop and laptop support for Windows and Mac systems
Assist users in resolving IT problems using hardware and software tools
Support, install, and maintain local area networks, operating systems, software, and related IT peripherals
Install and support hardware and software components for user groups, perform preventive maintenance, and test equipment
Evaluate system configuration to ensure efficient use of resources
Deliver a positive customer experience when interacting with users
Use ServiceNow ticketing system daily to triage tickets, escalations, and issues
Technical Skills
Proficiency with Windows 7, 10, 11, macOS, Active Directory, iOS, Android, Microsoft Office, Office 365
Experience troubleshooting, installing, and upgrading in Windows 7/10 enterprise; Mac OS X a plus
New system deployment (image, software install, data migration)
Resolve hardware driver conflicts, user profile corruption, OS errors (macOS, Windows)
Symantec, SCCM, bitlocker encryption troubleshooting
Local and networked printer configuration
Software installation support
Conference and meeting support, including client-approved meeting software
Remote access support
Mobile device configuration and deployment (iOS/Android)
Knowledge Base article management (proofreading, revision, accountability)
Process security requests for malware and vulnerability investigations
Other IT service desk tasks as required by client scope
Fluent German and English; main working language German
Education and Experience
Associate’s Degree or technical institute diploma/certificate in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
Working knowledge of basic hardware and software diagnostics
Ideally 1 to 3 years of IT support experience
Work Hours & Location
Monday to Friday daytime hours at client site in Rotkreuz, Switzerland.
