Role Summary
Short-term assignment (6 months) with the possibility of becoming permanent if the business case proves successful.
Key Responsibilities
* Validate data market needs, product features, and pricing with trading firms and industry stakeholders.
* Conduct competitive analysis on agri-data offerings and market positioning.
* Work with product and technical teams to refine data quality, usability, and relevance.
* Gather and analyse early customer feedback to enhance data products.
* Develop and implement pricing and monetisation strategies for new agri-market data products.
* Identify and secure new commercial opportunities with traders, agents, data aggregators, and other partners.
* Negotiate contracts and licensing agreements to maximise commercial value.
* Represent the company at industry events and commercial meetings.
Profile & Experience
* 10+ years' experience in commodities data sales and business development, including 5+ years in agriculture data monetisation.
* Deep understanding of agri-commodity trading, logistics, and pricing data.
* Strong network within agri-markets (trading firms and data contributors).
* Proven ability to validate and launch new data product concepts.
* Experience in SaaS or digital platform sales is a plus.
* Strategic, commercial, and innovative mindset.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Fluent in English; additional languages a plus.
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Agriculture, Commodities Trading, or Digital Innovation.
