Overview
JOIN the DHL Global Forwarding team as a Sachbearbeiter/in Import – 100 % (m/w). The position is located at the Regensdorf site of DHL Freight, where we provide national and international transport solutions for freight shipments across road, rail, and multimodal routes.
Responsibilities
* Handle and notify import shipments on the forwarding side.
* Obtain customs clearance orders and instructions.
* Check accompanying customs documents.
* Create delivery notes.
* Record and monitor delivery times in the system on time.
* Process complaints.
* Document handling.
* Register and deregister international transit documents.
* Coordinate with customs.
* Process deliveries per advance payment.
Qualifications
* Commercial apprenticeship in the shipping industry (Grundausbildung) and experience in truck import.
* Good PC and MS‑Office skills.
* Strong linguistic ability in German and good English skills; knowledge of French and/or Italian is an advantage.
* Flexible, conscientious, and meticulous work style.
* Team player with self‑stability and reliability.
* Ability to stay detail‑oriented in hectic environments.
* Excellent negotiation skills and communication and team abilities are a plus.
