The Position
This role is part of the External Engagement Centre of Excellence within Group Communications, serving as a hands‑on communications builder and strategic advisor to Roche’s Pharma Global Access Leadership.
Responsibilities
* Develop compelling public narratives and unified messaging on critical policy topics.
* Design and deliver full‑fledged communication strategies across digital channels, thought leadership and media engagement to support policy and access priorities.
* Represent Roche at selected global policy and access events.
* Proactively monitor emerging issues, maintain readiness to mitigate risk and manage sensitive topics.
* Establish clear KPIs and report results of external communication tactics.

Strategic thinker who thrives in multicultural, matrixed environments and possesses business acumen for complex healthcare topics.
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Politics, History, Business, Communications or a related field.
* 10+ years of experience in policy, public affairs or communications with integrated campaign execution across multiple channels.
* Deep healthcare industry experience.
* Exceptional writing and presentation skills in English; proficiency in German is an advantage.
* Strong networking and influence skills to build relationships across a global matrix organization.
* Ability to prioritize a high workload in a changing environment and willingness to travel up to 20%.
