Senior Linux Engineer Role
Join our client as a Senior Linux Engineer, where you will play a pivotal role in developing and operating Linux systems within an enterprise hybrid cloud environment. What You Will Do:
* Develop and operate Linux (SLES/Ubuntu) systems.
* Manage VMware SAN storage and data backup systems.
* Plan and execute system migrations from on-premise to cloud (Azure).
* Support stakeholders in evaluating and implementing requirements.
* Optimize and enhance system efficiency.
* Provide technical support in developing and updating ICT architectures.
What You Bring & Who You Are:
* Minimum 3-4 years of experience.
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science with extensive experience in Linux storage and data backup.
* Proficiency in working in agile teams.
* In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, GitHub).
* Expertise in Linux servers, containers, and cloud platforms.
* Experience with server environments like VMware, Azure Arc, or Azure Stack HCI.
* Strong understanding of IT operations, system engineering, and security services.
* Excellent communication skills in English and good German skills.
