* Role: Senior Solution Architect
* Project Duration: ASAP - End of 2026 (approx. 11 months)
* Latest Start Date: 01.02.2026
* Extension: Possible
* Workload: 80-100%
* Location: Basel (mostly onsite, some home office possible)
Tasks & Responsibilities
* Create architecture documents, diagrams, specifications, integration maps, data flow designs, and migration roadmaps.
* Develop and validate POCs using Python and cloud-native tooling.
* Design and document APIs/endpoints for integration and scalability.
* Architect solutions leveraging AWS services.
* Plan and document data/system migration strategies.
* Guide engineering teams during implementation.
* Maintain high-quality technical documentation.
* (Nice-to-have) Work in regulated environments (SaMD, CSV).
Mandatory Skills
* 8+ years in solution or technical architecture roles.
* Strong experience designing and documenting solutions on AWS.
* Python development experience (automation, prototyping, validation).
* Proven knowledge of API/endpoint architectures (REST, event-driven).
* Hands‑on experience in data and system migrations.
* Strong English communication skills.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
* Experience in regulated environments (SaMD, CSV).
* Executor mindset (hands‑on, detail‑oriented).
* Collaborative and dependable.
Soft Skills
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
* Ability to work closely with engineering teams.
