YOUR MISSION, SHOULD YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT…
As the Stock Keeper, you'll be the backbone of our hotel's operations, ensuring everything runs smoother than a well-oiled machine. From the Economat to the Wine Cellar, from the General Store to the Shop – you'll oversee it all. If it's stored here, you're the one making sure it's stocked, quality-checked, and absolutely flawless.
Here's what you'll be responsible for:
* Be the Guardian of the Goods: Stand proud at the receiving dock, ensuring everything that arrives meets our standards and order specifications (No bad apples allowed).
* Organize Like a Pro: Whether it's the Cellar, Economat, or General Store – you'll ensure that all goods and supplies are properly dispatched, and each storage area is tidy and ready for action.
* Stock Whisperer: Track stock like a ninja – prepare order recommendations in advance to make sure we never run low on anything
* Accuracy is Key: From purchase orders to delivery notes, you'll check everything for accuracy, ensuring that our stock management system is updated promptly and correctly.
* Quality Control Guru: Keep an eagle eye on all goods to ensure they meet health & safety standards and quality expectations.
* Monthly Inventory Master: You'll be the mastermind of inventory – participating to the stock-taking sessions, conducting thorough and accurate inventory counts to ensure everything is accounted for.
* Team Player: You'll collaborate closely with the Cost Controller and other team members to ensure budgets are adhered to and stock levels align with demand.
Qualifications
MADE FOR YOU? ONLY IF…
* You've got previous experience in inventory management, logistics, or store management, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
* You're super organized – if this job were a Tetris game, you'd be the champion.
* You have a keen eye for detail – you spot every misplaced item, every missing stock, and every label out of place.
* You're a team player who knows how to get things done without breaking a sweat (well, maybe just a little, when lifting those heavy crates of wine).
* You've got the knowledge to ensure everything is in line with health and safety standards and regulations.
YOUR LITTLE EXTRAS :
* You've been part of a hotel opening before and know what it takes to ensure stock is ready and organized during the early stages of launching a new property.
* You're as fun as you are meticulous – balance is key
