Job Description
* Lead complex projects from concept to production (research, 3D modeling, prototyping)
* Shape and evolve the design languages of Wenger and Victorinox
* Deliver precise design packages and specifications for smooth production
* Review and refine samples, balancing cost, quality, and brand strategy
* Represent design in cross-functional project meetings and influence key decisions
* Mentor and support designers, trainees, and interns
* Conduct trend research, benchmarking, and consumer insights for future strategies
* Own project milestones and ensure timely, aligned delivery
* Share insights to improve workflows and foster innovation (trends, AI, sustainability)
* Represent design at trade shows, market visits, and external events
* Drive creative pilot projects and innovation beyond standard briefs
Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Product/Industrial Design or a related field
* Several years experience in product design, ideally in consumer goods or lifestyle brands
* Expertise in 3D modeling and rendering (e.g., Rhinoceros 3D or Siemens NX)
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop)
* Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production constraints
* Ability to translate brand identity into innovative, functional designs
* Excellent project management and communication skills
* Creative thinker with a passion for aesthetics and usability
* Detail-oriented and quality-driven
* Collaborative and proactive in cross-functional environments
* Familiarity with trend analysis, sustainability, and emerging technologies (e.g., AI in design)
* Fluent in English (C1), German is a plus
