Tasks & Responsibilities
* Quality assurance for high‑tech molecular diagnostics: develop and implement automated test strategies for complex systems.
* BDD methodology: apply behavior‑driven development to translate requirements into executable specifications (e.g., Cucumber).
* Test environment development: construct and maintain frameworks using Selenium, Appium, SpecFlow, and libraries for laboratory robot control.
* Robotics integration: evaluate and integrate commercial robot arms and develop internal robotics tools to simulate user interactions.
* ALM & traceability: use Codebeamer to manage requirements and test cases and ensure traceability.
* CI/CD integration: provide automated QA within DevOps pipelines (GitHub, Azure DevOps).
* End‑to‑end validation: ensure data integrity from barcode scan to PCR result.
* Compliance & documentation: support test plans, protocols, and reports per ISO 13485 and related standards.
Must Haves
* Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Medical Technology, or comparable qualification.
* Minimum 5 years of software development experience.
* Minimum 5 years developing automated test strategies and frameworks.
* Strong programming skills and clean‑coding principles.
* Automation & BDD expertise: Selenium, Cucumber/SpecFlow.
* Experience with ALM tools, ideally Codebeamer.
* DevOps & CI/CD: GitHub or Azure DevOps.
* Analytical mindset: understand the logic of complex diagnostic systems.
Nice to Haves
* Knowledge of Rust.
* Robotics integration experience: controlling actuators/sensors, SiLA.
