Ph3The Role /h3 pPetiole Asset Management is seeking an Investment Director to support the Chief Investment Officer in the selection, monitoring, and oversight of investment managers and sponsors across alternative and liquid investment strategies. /p pThis is an investment-led role for a professional with deep experience in manager research, fund selection, or institutional portfolio analysis. You will work closely with the CIO and the investment team across Zurich, New York, the GCC, and Hong Kong — contributing rigorous analysis, high-quality investment materials, and strong support to the investment committee. /p pWe are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds from institutional investment consultants, OCIO platforms, private banks, asset managers, fund-of-funds, or family offices. Reference firms may include Cambridge Associates, Schroders, Pictet, Mercer, UBS, Partners Capital, Goldman Sachs Asset Management, BlackRock, and similar allocator or manager-selection platforms. /p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 h3MANAGER RESEARCH SELECTION /h3 ul liSource, evaluate, select, and monitor external investment managers and sponsors across private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds, long-only equity, fixed income, and multi-asset strategies. /li liConduct thorough due diligence: investment strategy, team quality, track record, portfolio construction, risk management, fee structure, alignment of interest, and operational setup. /li liPrepare investment memos, due diligence notes, manager reviews, and investment committee materials. /li liMaintain regular dialogue with external managers, sponsors, consultants, and platform partners. /li /ul h3ALTERNATIVE INVESTMENTS /h3 ul liSupport the review and underwriting of alternative investment opportunities across private markets and hedge funds. /li liAnalyse fund strategies, historical performance, portfolio exposures, underlying assets, market positioning, and risk factors. /li liMonitor existing alternative investment managers for performance, portfolio developments, team changes, valuations, liquidity, and capital activity. /li liHelp identify attractive managers, sponsors, and investment themes across global private markets. /li /ul h3LIQUID INVESTMENTS OCIO SUPPORT /h3 ul liAssist in overseeing liquid portfolios including public equities, fixed income, ETFs, mutual funds, hedge funds, and cash management strategies. /li liSupport OCIO-style portfolio monitoring: asset allocation, manager performance, risk exposure, liquidity, and rebalancing analysis. /li liEnsure liquid portfolios are aligned with total portfolio objectives, private market commitments, and client liquidity requirements. /li liContribute to portfolio reviews, performance analysis, and investment reporting. /li /ul h3INVESTMENT COMMITTEE SUPPORT /h3 ul liPrepare portfolio analysis, market updates, manager comparisons, and investment recommendations. /li liSupport the preparation of investment committee packs and internal decision-making materials. /li liMonitor approved managers and funds against expectations; flag relevant developments. /li liContribute to asset allocation discussions, manager watchlists, and portfolio construction analysis. /li /ul h3GLOBAL TEAM COORDINATION /h3 ul liWork with investment colleagues across Zurich, New York, the GCC, and Hong Kong. /li liCoordinate research, due diligence, and monitoring workflows across regions. /li liMaintain consistent investment documentation, analysis standards, and manager monitoring processes. /li liSupport the CIO in ensuring investment views and recommendations are clearly communicated across the global team. /li /ul h3Candidate Profile /h3 h3EXPERIENCE /h3 ul li5–7 years of relevant investment experience. /li liExperience in manager research, fund selection, private markets, alternatives, OCIO, investment consulting, multi-asset portfolios, or institutional portfolio analysis. /li liExposure to alternative investments such as private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, hedge funds, or fund-of-funds. /li liPrior experience at an investment consultant, asset manager, private bank, OCIO provider, family office, fund-of-funds, or institutional allocator is highly desirable. /li /ul h3TECHNICAL SKILLS /h3 ul liStrong analytical and investment research skills. /li liGood understanding of alternative investments and liquid markets. /li liAbility to assess managers across both qualitative and quantitative dimensions: performance, risk, portfolio exposures, fees, and track records. /li liStrong Excel, PowerPoint, and investment memo-writing skills. /li liFamiliarity with portfolio analytics, performance reporting, and asset allocation concepts. /li /ul h3PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES /h3 ul liStrong investment judgment and intellectual curiosity. /li liDetail-oriented, structured, and able to manage several workstreams simultaneously. /li liClear written and verbal communication skills. /li liComfortable interacting with external managers and internal senior stakeholders. /li liCollaborative, humble, and willing to work closely with a global team. /li liHigh integrity and a fiduciary mindset. /li liAble to operate in an entrepreneurial, international, and fast-moving environment. /li /ul h3QUALIFICATIONS /h3 ul liCFA, CAIA, MBA, or a relevant master's degree preferred. /li liExperience with private markets and/or manager selection is strongly preferred. /li liKnowledge of European, US, GCC, or Asian investment markets is advantageous. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
