Main Responsibilities
As a Senior Consultant in our Zurich office, you will be at the intersection of strategy consulting and data/AI innovation. You will:
* Strategy Development: Work with client leadership teams to address high‑stakes questions such as how AI can reshape a business model, how to govern and organize for data, and which strategic programs deliver the most impact.
* Structured Problem‑Solving: Break down complex challenges into clear, actionable recommendations using frameworks and methodologies rooted in classic strategy consulting, enriched by Artefact’s data and AI expertise.
* Project Delivery: Support engagements end‑to‑end, from hypothesis framing and market/competitor analysis to client workshops, governance design, and implementation roadmaps.
* Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with C‑level stakeholders and business unit leaders, building trusted relationships and communicating recommendations with clarity to ensure strategic alignment.
* Knowledge & Practice Building: Contribute to the growth of Artefact’s Zurich office by shaping new offerings, creating intellectual capital (frameworks, thought pieces, benchmarks), and participating in business development.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor’s and Master’s degree (preferred) in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics or a related field. An excellent academic track record is highly valued.
* Work Experience: Approximately 2–4 years in strategy consulting, data/digital consulting, or business analyst roles with hands‑on exposure to data, analytics, or AI‑driven projects.
* Business Acumen & AI Fluency: A dual affinity for business and technology, with a structured approach to solving complex problems.
* Knowledge of data and digital technologies such as analytics, AI, machine learning concepts, digital marketing, and cloud platforms. Programmer experience is not required, but a tech‑savvy mindset and eagerness to deepen understanding of the data/AI domain are expected.
* Analytical & Problem‑Solving Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to draw insights from data and perform data‑driven analysis to support decision‑making.
* Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience creating impactful presentations or reports. Ability to adapt messages for both technical and non‑technical audiences and a collaborative attitude are essential.
* Languages: Fluency in German and English (required); French is a strong plus.
* Work Eligibility: Must be eligible to work in Switzerland.
