For our client in Mons we are looking for a Project Manager for their ongoing Data center projects.
Mission
Responsibilities
The Project Manager / Owner's Representative (OR) will support the safe, high-quality, and timely delivery of optimized data center capacity throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:
* Ensure finalization of design, including product localization and permitting.
* Lead preconstruction planning, tendering, and procurement of vendors and consultants.
* Oversee construction, commissioning, and handover of projects in alignment with quality and schedule targets.
* Manage budgets, schedules, and risk throughout all project phases to ensure cost-effective delivery.
* Coordinate with all stakeholders to maintain clear communication, reporting, and alignment with project objectives.
* Drive project closeout, including completion of documentation, warranties, and regulatory approvals.
Profile
* Master's degree in Industrial/Civil Engineering (Mechanical, Electromechanical, Construction)
* Proven experience in managing complex construction projects, preferably in data centers or high-tech facilities.
* Strong capability in preconstruction planning, design coordination, and contractor/vendor management.
* Skilled in cost control, budgeting, schedule monitoring, and critical path management using tools like P6 and EVM.
* Competence in contract negotiation, procurement processes, and change management.
* Knowledge of QA/QC processes, permitting, regulatory approvals, and operational handover requirements.
* Excellent communication and coordination skills to interface with clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
* You speak English, French is a plus.
