Senior Solution Developer
Design and build applications on the Board platform, with a primary focus on our Financial Consolidation & Reporting (FCR) solution. This is a hands‑on, senior technical role for someone who is equally comfortable speaking the language of finance and the language of system design.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Product Owner to translate functional and business requirements into clear, well‑structured technical specifications that the development team can rely on.
* Design, build, andmaintainapplications on the Board platform, with FCR as the primary focus area.
* Partner with the Product Owner and finance stakeholders to capture consolidation, reporting, and disclosure needs accurately.
* Own the quality and reliability of delivered solutions, including data integrity, performance, and maintainability.
* Support adjacent solution areas such as Lease Accounting and Tax Reporting, ensuring consistency across the wider platform.
* Document solution design, data flows, and configuration to support handover, audit, and future development.
* Collaborate closely with fellow developers, sharing knowledge and contributing to internal best practices and technical standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience in solution development, withsignificant timespent building applications on the Board platform (data models, procedures, and reporting layers).
* Strong understanding of financial consolidation and reporting processes.
* Demonstrated ability to take requirements from a Product Owner and convert them into reliable technical requirements.
* Solid grasp of datamodeling, integration concepts, and solution reliability.
* Strong communicationskills, with the ability to work effectively across both finance and technical teams as part of a development team.
* A background in finance and accounting (degree or equivalent professional experience).
* Working knowledge of Lease Accounting (e.g., IFRS 16 / ASC 842) and its system implications.
* Familiarity with Tax Reporting processes and solution design.
* Experience in a consulting or solution‑delivery environment.
