Head of Quality & Continuous Improvement 80 – 100% (f/m/d)
The opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated, structured, and result-driven Head of Quality & Continuous Improvement. In this role, you will oversee the quality of our products and services and lead the continuous improvement efforts within a sizable and fast-growing Service Business. Your responsibilities include managing a small team of quality experts, developing and guiding our CI champions, resolving quality issues, and driving initiatives to elevate quality standards.
How you’ll make an impact
* Lead the Quality & Continuous Improvement function and represent it in the Management Team, providing regular updates on performance and initiatives.
* Lead, coach, and develop the quality team; guide process managers in methods and tools; foster a learning organization; and establish a quality-centric culture within the Local Service Unit.
* Act as an advocate for customers by collecting, analyzing feedback, and implementing improvements.
* Implement, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with standards.
* Oversee process management in collaboration with process owners and ensure effective change management to track modifications in designs, materials, suppliers, and processes.
* Promote a culture of continuous improvement by developing organizational competence and systematically enhancing business processes and performance.
* Manage non-conformances effectively by capturing, registering, and resolving issues promptly.
Your background
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in industrial management, engineering, or a related field.
* 5-10 years of experience in quality and continuous improvement, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
* Good understanding of service business; knowledge of GIS & GCB products and technology is advantageous.
* Strong analytical, conceptual, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a structured approach.
* Team-oriented, result-driven, hands-on, and collaborative in implementing improvements.
* Experience with project management, problem-solving, process improvement tools, and statistical techniques.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and SAP (S/4 HANA).
* Fluent in English; German and French are a plus.
