Contexte : The Software Asset Coordinator provide support to the SAM (Software Asset Manager) and coordination of Software Asset Management life cycle; coordination of Software Asset Management processes, software requests, license pooling/checks, deployment, and retirement. The IT Software Asset Coordinator input large volumes of software entitlement and deployment data into SAM Module of ServiceNow, to record and optimize license usage based on key license drivers (headcount, volume, other metrics). The Software Asset Coordinator maintain a direct contact with end-users to answer specific requests (Watson ticketing platform/Phone/e-mails) and coordinates effective license positions for various software publishers.
Tâches attendues
* Understands and practices key software asset management concepts.
* In support of the Software Asset Manager (SAM), proactively coordinates software assets licences during acquisition, management, optimization, and retirement lifecycle phases.
* Data entry of all entitlements within SAM module (ServiceNow) and maintain an accurate database to allow for proper reporting and dashboards.
* Promptly handle assigned requests and/or issues and tasks through internal systems (ServiceNow/Watson/COUPA).
* Always ensure excellent customer service and teamwork practices.
* Provide other ad-hoc administrative tasks when required.
* Support the Software Asset Manager (SAM) to ensure all T&O IT security, risk, and compliance procedures are complied with.
Compétences obligatoires
* Knowledge of IT Software Asset Management (min. 5 years of experience)
* Ability to use SAM tools and technology, including ServiceNow or equivalent enterprise software asset management tools to guarantee accurate data entry.
* Proactive, analytical, rigorous, and accurate.
* Excellent communication (written/verbal) skills, with the ability to effectively and proactively interact with publishers and end-users.
Qualifications Required
* Administration/IT background or on-going studies in a related field of expertise
* Service Now certifications is a real plus
